Vacaville, CA – Kevin Miller, President and CEO of Travis Credit Union (TCU), announced the appointment of Catherine Johnson as Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer. As Chief People Officer, Johnson will have oversight and responsibility for TCU’s Human Resources, Learning & Development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion engagement programs, as well as be an integral member of the Executive Leadership Team.


Vacaville, CA – Travis Credit Union (TCU) invites high school seniors who college-bound to apply for its 2023 Community Impact Scholarship. The program was established in 2004 and was initially named after the first woman to serve on the Travis Credit Union Board of Directors - Mary Keith Duff, who believed in the power of the community impact the credit union will have on future generations. Through this scholarship, TCU provides annually twenty scholarships for a total of $40,000, recognizing local students who are motivated in their academic studies and active in their schools and communities.


Lois S. Dittmer, Travis Credit Union’s Founding Member and Former Member of the Board of Directors Passes Away

Vacaville, CA – Travis Credit Union (TCU) remembers the life of one of the organization's founding members and former member of the Board of Directors, Lois S. Dittmer, who passed away in Fairfield, California on September 6, 2022, at the age of 103.


Vacaville, CA – Travis Credit Union (TCU) was honored for the seventh time with the Air Force Distinguished Credit Union of the Year Award. The award marks the third recognition in the past four years. This national recognition from the United States Department of the Air Force was presented to TCU at the Defense Credit Union Council’s Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas, acknowledging TCU as the on-base financial institution that has gone above and beyond its duty to provide superior and customized financial service and financial education to Air Force members and their families.


Vacaville, CA – For a third consecutive year, Travis Credit Union (TCU) has earned America’s Best-In-State Credit Union recognition, presented by Forbes and Statista Inc. The 2021 list was announced on June 21, 2022, on Forbes.com. TCU first won this prestigious recognition in 2019.

Vacaville, CA– Travis Credit Union (TCU) recently sponsored Napa Valley College's 16th Annual Youth Business Plan Competition, allowing over 150 students to get insight into what it takes to build a successful business model. The annual competition provides an opportunity for high school and college-age students to research and write a business plan and enter the Business Plan Competition. The competition paid tribute to Charlie Monahan, who worked with Napa Valley College for more than 20 years and served as the associate dean, career pathways & economic and workforce development.


Vacaville, CA – After a nationwide search, the Board of Directors has chosen Thomas Kevin Miller as President and Chief Executive Officer of Travis Credit Union (TCU), starting April 13th, 2022. The Board followed the succession plan to ensure an orderly process for executive leadership transition. TCU's Board of Directors are elected by the membership and give their time and experience to ensure the organization meets the needs of its members and the community.


Vacaville, CA – Travis Credit Union (TCU) joins the fundraising efforts of the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions (WFCU) in support of Ukrainian credit unions and pledges to donate fifteen thousand dollars to the Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund campaign. The Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund campaign aims to meet the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn residents as well as the two million refugees who have fled the country.

Vacaville, CA – The Travis Credit Union Foundation's COVID-19 Relief program started its second phase on July 24, 2021. The Foundation launched an immediate philanthropic campaign to support 10 community organizations in five counties in order to alleviate long-term economic problems brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Donations from the general public will be matched up to $10,000 by the Travis Credit Union Foundation, which will provide grants to each nonprofit from Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, Merced, and Yolo counties.
