Bonus Requirements: Set up and receive Qualified Direct Deposits into that eligible consumer checking account within ninety (90) days of account opening (“Deposit Period”). At the end of the Deposit Period, all Qualifying Direct Deposits will be totaled to determine the bonus amount you may earn. (see chart below).

Qualifying direct deposits are payroll or other personal income such as paycheck, pension or government payments (e.g. Social Security) via the Automated Clearing House (“ACH”). Direct deposits processed as a Debit Card or Credit Card credit or via Account to Account or Peer to Peer (e.g. Zelle®, Venmo) transfer or external bank ACH transfer not from employer do not qualify. Only new money qualifies and no cash deposits (cash allowed for the initial deposits). New money is defined as funds not currently on deposit with TCU.
Bonus Payment: Your Free Checking, Access Checking, or Investor Checking account must be open, in good standing and must have a balance greater than zero when the cash bonus is paid. The reward will be deposited into the checking account within 60 days after Deposit Period. The reward is considered interest and will be reported on IRS form 1099-INT.
