Eligibility Requirements:

  • This offer applies to new and existing Travis Credit Union (TCU) members who open their first TCU checking account between 1-12-2026 and 3-31-2026. Offer may be discontinued or changed at any time prior to the expiration date without notice.
  • A Prime Share Account is required to establish a new membership (requires a one-time non-refundable $5 fee plus a $5.00 minimum deposit) and/or a new TCU Free Checking must be opened using the promo code with a $50.00 minimum deposit or Access Checking account must be opened using the promo code with a $25.00 minimum deposit.
  • Only Free Checking and Access Checking accounts are eligible.

  • Qualifying direct deposits are payroll or other personal income such as paycheck, pension or government payments (e.g. Social Security) via the Automated Clearing House (“ACH”). Direct deposits processed as a Debit Card or Credit Card credit or via Account to Account or Peer to Peer (e.g. Zelle®, Venmo) transfer or external bank ACH transfer not from employer do not qualify. Only new money qualifies and no cash deposits (cash allowed for the initial deposits). New money is defined as funds not currently on deposit with TCU.

Bonus Payment:

  • Your Free Checking or Access Checking account must be open, in good standing and must have a balance greater than zero when the cash bonus is paid.
  • The reward will be deposited into the checking account within 60 days after Deposit Period.
  • The reward is considered interest and will be reported on IRS form 1099-INT.
