We understand that earthquakes, wildfires, flooding and other events – both natural and man-made – can occur without warning. At Travis Credit Union, we’re here to help during difficult times like these through our Disaster Relief Resources. These programs are available to our members and to others affected in the community who turn to Travis for assistance.
Disaster Relief Loan Program
Our Disaster Relief Loan Program allows members to borrow up to $10,000 to assist in rebuilding from a disaster such as a wildfire. The actual loan amount and length of term will depend on the applicant’s credit history. We can also defer your first monthly payment for 60 days, if needed.
You can apply online for our Disaster Relief Loan Program. Visit traviscu.org/apply and apply for the Personal Loan. You will need to enter Promo Code: DRLF. You can also visit your nearest Travis branch or call (800) 877-8328 during normal business hours.
Disaster Relief Skip-a-Pay Option
Members who have loans with Travis Credit Union may request to skip a payment because of a recent disaster. If you have filed an insurance claim as a result of a recent wildfire, earthquake, flood or other disaster, you may request an extension on your TCU loan. Please visit a branch or give us a call at (800) 877-8328 during normal business hours.
We hope you’ll never experience the need for these programs. Remember, we’re here to help you when a disaster strikes.
Thank you for your membership.
