In the Community – Fall 2018

Mascot Day At Jelly Belly

On August 1, T-Bird and Travis employees went to the annual Mascot Day hosted by the Jelly Belly Jellybean Factory in Fairfield. We were able to speak with locals and traveling families alike about the sweet deals TCU can bring. T-Bird was the true star– meeting other mascots and giving lots of hugs to willing kids.

Shred Events

Travis Credit Union sponsored three shred events in September. On Sept. 8th, at our corporate offices in Vacaville and at our Antioch Branch, along with Sept. 22nd, at the Merced Branch, professional shredding of documents were offered. The free event had onthe- spot document shredding to help residents protect personal and financial information from identity thieves.

Travis Air Force Base Rock The Block Party

On August 3, Travis Air Force Base hosted its annual Rock the Block Festival. Family and service members were treated to a variety of events including live music, kid’s fun zone and food trucks.

Back To School Resource Fair

Travis Credit Union was a proud sponsor of the annual Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District (FSUSD) Back to School Resource Fair. We had a great time mingling with the community by speaking to parents and students about financial education.

Travis Credit Union employees actively support the people and communities we serve through an investment of financial resources and human capital. We’re also engaged based on our core purpose, promoting the mission of "People Helping People”, through financial literacy and advocacy initiatives.
