OFFER: Travis Credit Union (TCU) will give away one Google Chromebook™ (Grand Prize) valued at $200.00 to one qualified participant whose entry is drawn at the end of College Financial Planning Workshop Series. A qualified participant is one who meets all eligibility requirements as described below.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The 2022 College Financial Planning Workshop Series Giveaway will run through the workshops series that will be held on November 17-18, December 1-2, December 8 – 9 and December 13-14, 2022.
ELIGIBILITY: This Giveaway is open to all students ages 13 to 21 who are California residents or TCU members. TCU employees, their immediate family members, TCU volunteers and board members are not eligible for this Giveaway. Only individual persons may participate. Each participant accepts the conditions and terms of these official rules.
PROCESS OF ELIGIBILITY: Students will earn one entry to the Giveaway per workshop attended. There are 8 workshops so that is the maximum number of entries per person. Participant does not need to be present at the end of the final workshop to win the Grand Prize.
PRIZE: At the conclusion of the of last workshop series on December 14, 2022 TCU representatives will randomly select one winner from all of the registration entries received. The potential winner must confirm his or her identity through validated entries. No substitution, transfer or assignment of the prize will be permitted. The winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the prize. The winner may also be asked to provide a Form W-9 and should consult a tax advisor regarding prizes and applicable taxes.
WINNER AGREEMENT: The potential winner agrees, as allowed by law, to allow TCU and its representatives the right to use his or her name, hometown, likeness, biographical information and prize information for advertising, promotion and publicity purposes worldwide in perpetuity in all media without compensation.
ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning the 2022 College Financial Planning Workshop Series Giveaway are based on the total number of registration entries received.
RESTRICTIONS: The 2022 College Financial Planning Workshop Giveaway is subject to change and/or cancellation at any time by TCU without notice. Not valid where prohibited by law. If, in TCU’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Giveaway, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of either, TCU reserves the right to terminate the Giveaway or to modify it in a manner deemed appropriate by the credit union.
