JP is currently General Counsel, Corporate Secretary for Rhombus Systems, Inc., an enterprise cloud-based, AI-driven physical security solution provider. He has more than 28 years of experience in the technology and healthcare sectors, working with several Fortune 500 companies focusing on strategy, product development, data security and privacy, corporate governance, and operations.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Biola University and his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University. He is certified in Entrepreneurship and Technology Law. In his spare time, he teaches at Pepperdine University’s Caruso School of Law, advises various early-stage technology companies and serves as an active member of TechGC, a private network consortium of high-growth technology general counsels.
JP began volunteering with TCU in 2019. He is a graduate of the TCU Volunteer-at-Large program and was elected to its Board of Directors in 2020. He holds the Certified Credit Union Board member designation (CCUB) from the Credit Union National Association, has served on TCU’s Governance Committee, Finance Committee, Nominating Committee, Training & Development Committee and CEO Selection Committee. He is currently the Chair of the Policy and Risk Committee.
