Maintaining a high credit score will earn you a higher line of credit. In the event you need a credit limit increase, please apply online for an increase to your credit card.

3D Secure (3DS) Authentication

3D Secure, also known as 3DS, is a technical standard created by Visa that adds an additional layer of protect to online debit card and credit card transactions.

When enabled, 3DS provides a 2-step authentication process for online purchases to prevent payment card fraud. To complete a purchase, TCU cardholders will have to enter a unique code to complete an online transaction with merchants who use 3DS.

Travis Credit Union will automatically activate 3DS for TCU debit and credit cardholders. This will allow you to make purchases at merchants that require the added layer of security for check out.

If you’re attempting to make an online purchase with a merchant who uses 3DS, you will be prompted to receive a code, once received to your number on file, please enter the code with the merchant before it expires.

3DS adds a layer of protection for both the consumer and the retailer against fraud.

General Information

APR is annual percentage rate. This is the amount of interest that is billed to your account for the convenience of carrying a balance. Please review your card agreement and welcome letter for complete APR details. Your APR is also listed on your most recent credit card statement.

This amount is listed on the card carrier, the letter to which your card was affixed, in the upper right corner. You may also view your credit line and the balance remaining for purchases and cash advances on the Account Overview page once you have logged into MyCardInfo.

This amount is the monthly minimum you must pay to keep your account in good standing. This minimum amount is clearly stated on each statement and is equal to an amount decided upon by Travis Credit Union. Generally, the minimum amount calculation is made available in your card agreement and welcome letter and can be obtained by contacting us.

If you have questions regarding your statement or if you feel there is an error, please contact our Member Service Center by using the information on the Contact Us page of the Help & Info menu.

If you do not recognize a charge or feel you were billed an incorrect amount, please follow these three steps:

  1. Double-check your receipts and check with other authorized users of your card.
  2. Contact the merchant where the purchase originated.
  3. If you are unable to resolve your dispute with the merchant, fill out the Dispute Transactions under the Account Services Tab and follow the prompts.

If you have any questions, please contact our Member Service Center by using the information on the Contact Us page.
