The 2020 Mary Keith Duff Memorial Scholarship Recipients

For 17 years, TCU has been awarding 20 local, college-bound seniors with a $2,000 Mary Keith Duff Memorial Scholarship. To qualify, you must be a high school senior, a TCU member in good standing, have a GPA of at least 3.0 and submit a 500-word personal statement essay on your plans for the future.

Offering scholarships to deserving high school seniors is just one way we are assisting our young members with the rising cost of higher education, and committing to the financial success of our country’s future leaders.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t hold our usual celebratory dinner, but we found a way to make it special for these grads. On June 11, we awarded scholarships digitally and hand delivered a “Gala in a Box” to students that included a $200 gift card that could be used towards a family dinner celebration. TCU board members and executives coordinated live Zoom calls with the families to celebrate their achievement.

These scholars will be studying a range of subjects, including performance, biological sciences, computer science, business, engineering, and aviation management flying, to name a few.

Here’s what the graduates had to say about their awards:
