Merced – Mad City Money

A financial bootcamp for young adults, ages 14-24, it simulates some financial realities of the grown-up world with hands-on activities. Each participant is assigned a temporary identity, including occupation, salary, debt, marital status, and children, etc. They visit nine “merchants” in Mad City to choose housing and transportation and purchase necessities and wants.
