As a credit union, we are devoted to our communities’ financial wellness. One way we encourage and support you is through education. That’s why we’re proud to offer the Mary Keith Duff Memorial Scholarship program. This year, our annual scholarship program will award $2,000 each to 20 deserving Travis members who are high school seniors bound for college.
The MKD Scholarship
The Mary Keith Duff Memorial Scholarship was created in 2004 to honor the late Mary Keith Duff, a credit union volunteer known for her hard work, judgment, and dedication. Mary was the first woman to serve on the Travis Credit Union Board of Directors. She’s remembered for her wonderful spirit and unwavering responsibility to give her very best to the members she represented. It’s this spirit of responsibility, altruism, and hard work that our judges search for when selecting scholarship recipients.
How to apply for the scholarship
Travis members who are high school seniors may either download and complete an application, or apply online at www.traviscu.org/scholarship.* Requirements also include a GPA of 3.0 or higher, membership with TCU, and a letter of reference from a teacher verifying an applicant’s scholastic honors, awards, and qualities such as leadership and community involvement.
