Hunger in Our Community is Year Round

After the holiday rush and we settle back into our regular routine, we often forget that hunger is a struggle for many throughout our community every day.

Each year Travis Credit Union partners with the Food Banks of Contra Costa and Solano counties to help grow hunger awareness and collect food for those in need in our branches. Food collection continues through mid-January.

We encourage you to stop by your nearest TCU branch and donate generously to our food barrels and to your local Food Bank after the mid-January end for the food barrels at TCU.

Through your donation of food, you significantly touch the lives of your neighbors. Together, we can help make a difference in our community.

Food Items Needed: Dry beans, pasta, Tomato products, canned meat, Fish, Peanut butter, Canned Vegetables, Fruit, Powdered milk, Cereal/oatmeal, Pre-packaged meals, 100% Fruit Juice and Rice.
