"Travis Credit Union gives you the opportunity to advance and move up in your field. They invest time and money to ensure that you're getting the best possible training to help you rise through the ranks.” -- Tetet, Branch Manager
It’s quite simple. Travis Credit Union is a great place to work.
Our employees love what they do because they love to help people with their finances. We encourage our employees to develop professional relationships with our members, to get to know their names and a little about them. That way, we’re in a better position to understand and recommend the products and services that they need, when they need them. This puts smiles on members’ faces, and on ours, too.
Our summer internship program is part of our ongoing investment in the communities we serve. Paid internship positions give local college students an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in their chosen career field, a better understanding of the credit union industry, a chance to develop their financial skills and experience to help us create a pool of qualified candidates for full-time jobs at Travis Credit Union now and for the future.
Qualified candidates must be a Junior or Senior majoring in a field of study related to the position of interest and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. All positions will be assigned to our corporate headquarters in Vacaville and the program lasts for approximately 12 weeks.
People notice what we do.
We’ve been consistently voted “The Best Place to Bank” in Fairfield, Vacaville, Brentwood and other Northern California cities. Our employees are the reason for this, and we’re humbled and honored to have individuals who believe in what we do.

Statement of Intent
Travis Credit Union was founded on the principle of “People Helping People,” and we strive to make a positive difference in the lives of our members and in the communities we serve. We demonstrate this commitment in three important ways:
- By creating mutually beneficial relationships and viewing ourselves as stakeholders in our members’ and communities’ success.
- By demonstrating the principle of community stewardship. We are guided by the belief that our communities are not our markets; they are our partners, and we have an obligation to become engaged and active participants in community affairs.
- Through our passionate employees, who believe they can personally make a difference and willingly commit their personal time, efforts and resources to demonstrate these beliefs.
An important way that Travis CU demonstrates “People Helping People” is through an ongoing focus on financial education. From a middle school program titled “BizKid$” to a financial planning program and Mad City Money workshops for high school students; to college funding programs that include loans, grants, scholarships and a collaboration with Solano County Office of Education on its Work Ready Certification Program, we seek to improve the financial health of our community members and their families.
We believe that programs such as these are the Credit Union Difference!
