Smart money matters, spring 2023 edition, mobile view banner Strength and stability since 1951

TCU’s strength lies in our members, whose trust in Travis over the past 72 years has helped us grow from a single branch on Travis Air Force Base to $4.7 billion in assets and 24 branches today.

Read on to learn how your membership makes a difference, with a message from TCU President and CEO Kevin Miller.

Latest TCU news

A Message from Kevin Miller, President & CEO

Travis Credit Union is off to a strong start in 2023, with more consumers and businesses choosing Travis as their trusted financial partner. Team Travis continues to enhance the value we offer our members, including up to two-day early access to their paychecks, cutting fees, improving contact center wait times, and adding the ability for members to easily check if they are pre-qualified for a loan 24/7 online. I am personally thrilled that on top of these money and time saving measures, Travis continues to provide outstanding support to our communities (Check out our 2022 Community Impact Report to see what I mean.)

Last month, regulators closed two niche-focused regional banks. In sharp contrast, TCU is a community-based financial cooperative that has stood the test of time. TCU members have been the owners of this credit union since it was founded in 1951. Today, our 225,000+ members, throughout 12 counties, and beyond, have helped us reach $4.7 billion in assets. All TCU deposit accounts are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), giving you peace-of-mind your hard-earned money will be there when you need it. You can rest assured that your deposits remain safe and secure, and that this credit union has the financial strength to weather any economic storms.

I invite you to see for yourself. Join us for our Annual Meeting on April 27th in our Community Room to learn more about our financial strength and long-standing commitment to financial wellness for all.

TCU is well positioned for the weeks, months and years-ahead. I look forward to sharing updates on the outstanding work the team is doing for our members and the communities where we live and serve. In the meantime, should you need anything, team Travis stands at the ready to help you achieve your financial goals. Visit us online, stop by a branch, or send me an email, and let’s talk about them.

Thank you for your membership.
