A few months ago, one of our Real Estate employees, Blanca, helped a member save more than $600 a month in payments by consolidating all of her debt as part of a mortgage refinance. By focusing on the loan options that best fit the member’s individual needs, she lowered the member’s interest rate as well as gave her the peace of mind she hadn’t had in years. “She’s beyond grateful that she picked up our phone call,” Blanca said, “but she never imagined it would have changed her life.”
Finding ways to save you money and improve your financial life is what everyone at Travis Credit Union does every day. Our 600+ employees aren’t people who just work at a credit union; they’re your neighbors, relatives, friends and colleagues who truly care about you and your community. We are committed to your financial success, both for the short-term and long-term.
We’re improving ourselves, too
This dedication toward saving you money applies to ourselves, too. As an organization, we never stop improving for you and constantly look for ways to become more efficient in what we do so we can provide more resources back to you, our membership.
For example, to save on printing and mailing costs, you’re now able to receive our quarterly Smart Money Matters member newsletter via email. If you haven’t already, please add or update your email address with us so you can receive this publication as well as other communications via email.
Another way we’re improving your personal finances is by providing you opportunities to get rid of unwanted personal and financial documents for free. Identity theft remains a big problem for Americans, so for you to properly dispose of your documents, we’re offering a free shred event this month in Contra Costa County.
Annual Membership Meeting
Of course, we always welcome your input on how we can be more efficient. Pat and I cordially invite you to attend our Annual Membership Meeting on April 26, from 5–6 p.m. at our corporate offices located at One Travis Way in Vacaville. We’ll review the credit union’s accomplishments in 2017 and share the goals for 2018.
And if you’re in the Atwater or Merced area, we invite you to attend our Central Valley Meeting on Tuesday, May 15, from 6–7 p.m. at the Castle Air Museum, 5050 Santa Fe Drive, Atwater. We’ll share the same information as our annual meeting as well as provide insight about what’s happen with our local branches in the area.
We hope to see you there!
