Travis Credit Union employees actively support the people and communities we serve through an investment of financial resources and human capital. We’re also engaged based on our core purpose, promoting the mission of “People Helping People”, through financial literacy and advocacy initiatives. Here are some of the events our employees participated in over the past few months.

Financial Literacy Month Resource Fair

Travis Credit Union participated in the California Department of Oversight Financial Literacy Month Resource Fair on April 26, 2016, at the California State Capitol. We are champions of financial advocacy and literacy in all of the communities we serve.

Travis Credit Union once again supported the Vacaville Boys & Girls Club Bowl-A-Thon on March 19. We are proud to support organizations that help keep our youth engaged and involved in our communities.

Credit Union SACTOWN Run

Sactown10 Run - SMM Summer 2016

TCU employees once again volunteered and participated in the Credit Union SACTOWN Run on April 3 at the State Capitol. This event raises funds for the Childrens’ Miracle Network Hospitals.

Energy Expo

On May 7, Travis Credit Union held its first Energy Expo in its Community Room in Vacaville to allow members as well as the public to learn about energy efficient products, including solar electrical systems, without the sales pressure. The event showcased local businesses in the home improvement industry as well as utility companies.
