Congratulations to our 2017 scholarship winners

Twenty-one high school students heading to college this fall are doing so with $1,500 scholarships from Travis Credit Union. Congratulations to our 2017 recipients of the Mary Keith Duff Memorial Scholarship, a program aimed to help college-bound Travis members with college expenses.

This annual scholarship program demonstrates the credit union’s commitment to higher education in the communities we serve. This year’s winners received their awards on June 8, 2017 at a ceremony held in the Lt. General John F. Gone Community Room of Travis Credit Union’s corporate headquarters in Vacaville. The finalists were selected by the Scholarship Committee, which is comprised of credit union board members, volunteers and senior staff.

The committee thanks every student who applied for these awards. We applaud the accomplishments of some of our best and brightest local high school graduates. Good luck on your endeavors!

You’ll also need to submit a 250-word essay describing your education and career goals after college.

Applications will be available in branches and posted on www.traviscu.org/scholarships by January 1, 2018. We encourage graduating high school seniors to apply at that time.
