What keeps you awake at night?

Rest assured, your savings are safe with us

Your Travis Credit Union share deposit accounts are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). This insurance is similar to the insurance on deposit accounts at banks provided by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).

The NCUA administers the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), which was created in 1970 to insure members’ deposits. The share insurance level was permanently set at $250,000 per account in 2010. The NCUSIF is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government.

The Fund was created by and continues to be paid for entirely by credit unions. No federal tax dollars have ever been placed in the fund, and no member has ever lost money insured by the NCUSIF.

Your money is safe with us at Travis Credit Union. Rest assured, you won’t lose sleep because of us.
