In an effort to support Solano County communities through financial education, Travis Credit Union will offer a free seminar on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the TCU Community room located at One Travis Way, Vacaville. This workshop will help individuals discover how to use credit cards to their advantage. They will learn the benefit-and costs of-credit cards, how to build a good credit history, the warning sign of having too much debt, how to avoid credit card fraud, and how to get and read their credit report and credit score. Additionally, they will learn to understand the significance of their credit score and why building credit is so important.
