"Women and Money 1: Where Are You Now?"

In an effort to support Solano County communities through financial education, Travis Credit Union will offer a series of three free seminars designed specifically for women beginning on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the TCU Community Room located at One Travis Way, Vacaville. Women of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds are invited to participate in the first session entitled, "Women and Money 1, Where Are You Now?" This workshop helps women actively plan for financial security. Individuals will determine their current and desired financial situation, understand women's unique financial challenges, and explore their money values and emotions. Participants will also identify their financial barriers, get tips to fine-tune their spending plan, and develop their own personal action plan.

This is the second seminar in a three-part series for women. At the seminar, participants will learn how to protect their credit rating, avoid fraud, prepare for "what if" situations, and have adequate insurance in place. They will also start to develop their own personal action plan.
