Advanced Authentication FAQ
I can't get into my Internet banking account to setup Advanced Authentication.

I use an "Account Aggregator"

My Bank of America Portfolio can't access my Travis Credit Union account anymore. Why?

My Yodlee account can't access my Travis Credit Union account anymore. Why?

My Microsoft Money no longer automatically downloads my balances. Why?

To enable your browser to allow you to setup Advanced Authentication please follow these guidelines.

Check to make sure your Cookies are cleared and your Security Zone settings are set to the default levels inside your browser. This task varies among the browsers available on the Internet.
Shown below is Internet Explorer:

Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) Internet Explorer 7 (IE7)
On your Tools menu you will find the item labeled Internet Options, Shown is versions 6 and 7 of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
In IE 6(shown) and 7, you should first try to delete your cookies and Temporary Internet files. The will clear out any possible malformed code caused by system crashes during browsing, or just corrupted files from surfing the web.

This is also a good maintenance practice to keep your browser cache small to free up space on your hard drive.

In Internet Explorer 7(shown) Its very much like version 6 except it provides a more comprehensive way to delete your files.
In Internet Explorer 7(shown) you can choose just to Delete cookies or to Delete all of your temporary internet cache. Either way will provide the same results.
Confirm that you want to continue the delete process.
Set your Security and Privacy options to the Default level inside your Internet Explorer browser.
In IE 6 (shown) If your Security or Privacy settings are set to Custom Level set those to Default Level.

Once you have completed these steps you should be able to:

Setup your Advanced Authentication image if you haven't done so already.

Or

If you setup an Advanced Authentication image already, you will login and it will ask you one of your challenge questions then allow normal access once you are validated.

Account aggregation
It is a method that involves compiling information from different accounts, which may include bank accounts, credit card accounts, investment accounts, and other consumer or business accounts, into a single place. This may include a database or may be provided through "screen-scraping" where a user provides the requisite account-access information for an automated system to gather and compile the information into a single page.

Most systems that use screen scraping will no longer be able to access your Travis Credit Union account

Microsoft Money
It no longer works "automatically" with our Online Banking product due to the higher security method currently in place.  You can still export your account history money file and import it into your Microsoft Money program regardless of what version you have.

Inside Online Banking select the account your want to export the history from. From the menu on the left of your browser window choose "Export Account Information" choose "Money using Active Statements (OFX)" which you can then download and save to your computer to be imported into Money. With Money 2007 installed it will prompt you to start Money once you click the Export Button inside Online Banking making your export easier.
